Elizabeth Margaretha Pringle Lubbe, b1 - Sources?

Hi there,

There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the different John Pringles!!! The one she is listed under is probably not her father, but it is her mother. My first impression is that you curated the wrong Charles Pringle!

Alternatively, she is the same child as Jane Elizabeth (of him, b1) just different spellings.

But since there are more than one John Pringle I would rather try and clear up that...

Her husband seems to be Henning Jeremias, and his DN is found here:

KAB 1123/1851

There is conflicting evidence regarding the date they were married... if it was 1822 then her father is wrong.

If is was after 1840, then it was his 3rd marriage (albeit she was a bit young if born c1829) but she then with correct father.

I will have to look at this from all angles... will do so tomorrow.

Elizabeth Jane Pringle - first or 2nd husband's DN is VAB D73 perculiar spelling of his surname, and also in 1874!, which could open up another angle.

Hi Jan. Not sure what curating the wrong Charles Pringle means? I've curated the one listed as your profile's father -because I was sorting out his family but can't find evidence of her as his child. Looking for the Source you used to make the profile from - that should help us figure out where she belongs.

RE John Charles PRINGLE, yes indeed you did a good job there, as his FOURIE wife is mentioned at the top of his DN!

And thanks to Gail we know about FOURIE now, so they go together.
