Walter was living in Georgetown in South Carolina in the early 1800's. Married Mary Ann Durant and had 3 children: Mary Amanda, G eorge, and Stephen Francis. He died 1859. The Willard Family Assn does record that he had two sons but there is no record of his daughter, Mary Anmanda, who married Henry Doyle and had a son in 1838, Henry Edgar Doyle. Her husband died around the birth of their son and Amanda married George W. Durant, having 5 children. I am a descendant of Henry Doyle and Amanda Willard. The only record I have of their marriage is the death certificate of Henry Edgar Doyle 1922.
