Back to the Beginning

I'm familiar with the fact that, although we trust Rashi that he was descended from David, we don't actually have all those generations recorded.
What I'm curious about is if we know of any OTHER ways that Rashi can be traced back all the way to biblical figures. I've been trying to create a direct line back to the beginning for years. The closest I have is my line through Rashi/David. But, missing those generations tarnishes that lineage a bit. However, if I can trace back a different way, I'd be happy with that.
