Dear all, I am not a member of the historians project but I was struck by the image -- an old bearded man. I am an academic historian and one issue we often struggle with is that women historians are not taken as seriously as men, and that when we say "historian" most people imagine a man (with glasses). I think there were even some discussions on that in the media, but I cannot find those right now. What am I trying to say -- and I hope it will not come across the wrong way -- how about a more inclusive picture?
