Supposedly it might happen sometime, but it hasn't happened yet for anybody.
If you want to actually see any results, at present time, you you must transfer - ie upload - your 23andMe results to FamilyTreeDNA - or if not one of the versions they accept, must test at FTDNA (their FamilyFinder Test for Autosomal matches) - then once matches are in, link to FTDNA.

(the connecting to FTDNA from Geni requires you be logged out of FTDNA to start - do not know if that might have caused the original problem, or not)
