Just wanted to put a note here: I descend from Isaac Holeman Sr. and his son William, and I still carry African DNA (my family is considered white) that I can trace back most likely to Isaac Sr. or probably his wife, Mary Benton who it seems was born in NC in Catawba or possibly Lumbee territory and the Lumbees were known to be Tri-racial.
So it's very likely that Rebecca Bond was also tri-racial...
