My mother's family was from Nowy Wisnicz - the Epstein's. My grandfather's name was Perez Epstein, my grandmother Chaya Epstein (nee Slep or Slepowitz? or some other derivative). It is my understanding they fled their home when the Germans arrived, fleeing to the Ukraine initially. My mother told me she thought my grandmother's family was originally from Rodnow (?). Does anybody have any information on the Epstein family? All my thanks for any help.
