George Facer arrived in New York 1 May 1860, and arrived in SLC in August 1860. Does anyone know how or why he went to Willard? He and his wife Mary Prior had their second son William in Willard in 1861, so they must have moved there right away.Thank you everyone for your help.

When the pioneers arrived in Utah Territory, the church leaders told them where to settle. My great grandparents went by train from New York City in 1875 and were sent to Bear Lake County Idaho.
