Hi Private User it is deeply frustrating that you cannot delete relationships in a sensible way there are quite a few in my tree (which I added into Geni years ago but have extensively re-worked and evidenced since then). I would be grateful if you could delete the father-son relationship between: Father: John Bargrave Lindsay Deane and son: Joseph William Deane as I simply cannot prove the relationship between them. I am the only manager of both profiles and added both of them to the site. Many Thanks, Peter
That's great. Thanks Private User If you have a chance to have a look at William Neal his parents are wrong as are his siblings, the same is true for his wife Lucy Neal again I created all of these relationships (wrongly it now turns out) and cannot delete them. If you could help here too I'd be very grateful.
Hello Kerry,
That's really a different discussion than the one we are in and should be it's own discussion.
To answer the question, the short answer is no. You are on the Geni World Tree over over 100 million profiles. Geni uses a shared tree system unlike most other genealogy tree websites. What you do on the tree affects every other user on the Geni World Tree.
I recommend starting a new discussion with the problems you are having. There are many people willing to help resolve whatever your issues are.
