Data Conflicts - Hungary - Zsigmond ROSENFELD

Hi,
Zsigmond is the right first name.
He is my second great uncle. As far as I know he is/was Zsigmond,
as he was Hungarian and used Zsigmond.
So it will be hard to find some document showing Siegmund.
There is a Geni subscriber, who used to change Hungarian names to German ones. For example Alexander instead of Sándor. Please look at Sándor Jakabfy’s profile and you will understand.
I’m really tired of his actions and I just used to change again and write the Hungarian names.

Well said Agnes. Our Hungarian ancestors' are entitled to be known by the names we have found them recorded by in public records when they were born, married or died. To give them alternative names without also providing links to any verifying documentation, devalues Geni as a historical resource.
