The Danish version at heimskringla.no seems to think that Sida is a place name - with the most famous person dwelling there being "Hall på Sida".
http://www.heimskringla.no/wiki/Landnamabogen_3 - para 219 and others.
http://www.heimskringla.no/wiki/Landnamabogen_4 - para 266 tells about "Hall på Sida" (also called "Sida-Hall"), son of Thorstein Bodvarson and Thordis daughter of Øssur.
Private User the same Sidu as Alex mentioned. Daughter of [father unknown] and [mother unknown]
[sibling(s) unknown] SOURCES UNKNOWN::: = 0
Sidu (Denmark) Danmark married Frodo Knudsen of Sjaella (abt 0845 - abt 0885) and married Harde Knud Hardeknute Sigurdsson of Sjaella (0814 - 0884) on 0839 and is the mother of one child and the grandmother of 3 grandchildren. Listed below are details on up to five generations of descendants.
Gorm Hardeknudsson

So, instead, Gorm the old, was the son of Knut I (Hardeknut), not the later known Hardeknut, but the first one, https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knut_I
Hardeknut might have been the son of Sven Sigurdsson, who in turn was the son of Sigurd snake in the eye, Ragnarsson. Hardeknut was adopted by Guthrum, aka Guttorm, Gorm, https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guthrum which in turn was the reason he named his son after him, = Gorm, (the danisk wellknown king who indeed wasn´t old at all when he died... ), anyway, Hardeknut was the king in Danmark, most likely he married Asfrid Odinkarsdotter who also become the mother of Gorm, ca. 916-17, hence, she would be the same woman as Sidu of Denmark. Sidu is an abbreviation of Asfrid Odinkarsdotter.
Thank you Ulf. Now we are on the right path.
We find it in the written saga: Adam of Bremen.
Astrid Odinkarsdotter is the name. ("Sidu of Denmark")
Read about all this at Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harthacnut_I_of_Denmark
May Alex can melt the alike profiles which is on Geni.com together and correct the profiles ?

Regnal titles King of Denmark
Preceded by Sigtrygg Gnupasson King of Denmark
Harthacnut I of Denmark c. 916 to c. 936 (perhaps only part of kingdom)
Succeeded by Gorm the Old 940 – c. 958
----
As you know, he became king after that when Gnupa had died, Gnupas son Sigtrygg Gnupasson was a minor at that time, later they both co-ruled, and after that they both had died, Gorm Knutsson became the king, and it was first by his son, Harald Denmark was more or less unified with one king.
"Gorm was "old" in the sense that he was considered the traditional ancestral "head" of the Danish monarchy." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorm_the_Old
Studies of Gorm's skeleton have shown that he was about 172 centimeters long and died in the 40-50 age. Gorm "the old" was thus not very old, so when I claim that he was born c. 916, and died c. 958, it makes a perfect fit to the findings in his tomb at Jelling.
This also suggest that Knut married the widow of the dead king Gnupa, thus become stepfather to Sigtrygg Gnupasson, and not at all killed him, because that would indeed be pointless, that´s just a tall tale. Asfrid exist her on geni, I created her a couple of years ago, Asfrid Odinkarsdotter
but just forget that anyone would accept to put her up as mother to Gorm, they (other so called experts) have not the mental, logical, analytical skills and capacity to do that.
In my opinion, it doesn´t exist any other experts in this field so ther's no one else to really ask, but my conclusions fits with the picture of this puzzle bit by bit, that's also why the bishop Odinkar got his name, and how he was related to the Danish sitting royal house.
Yes, the main problem is simple, because we have all the dots but no one want to draw the lines between them, probably because any child could do that so easily... they want an expert with a master degree in history, genealogy, Scandinavian old culture, archeology, forensic and what ever sums up in a none existing person... to spell out loud that it's that simple!
When they did the analyze of Gorm's remain, and found out how young he was, they had to say that the man in the grave could have been anybody, despite that the dendrochronology made matched the time of Gorms death, despite that popular tradition always had it said that he rested there, It was someone else, period...must have been...
Harald Tveit Alvestrand I understand that it's hard for some, but we had this Sida of Denmark, put up as the mother of Gorm the old, that tree on this site https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Denmark-3 have some errors! According to me, Sido was the same as Asfrida.
Private User raised the question,
"Do somebody know Sidu of Denmark ? "
That's it.
