He was my father. He didn't know who is grandfather was - believed to be married to someone else. His mother's family lived for many generations in Sri Lanka - Marie Stella/Stella/formerly Young. Grandfather, Claude Henry Verner was reputed to have been born in Dum Dum, India. Nothing traceable. His mother was Kate Turnbull formerly Kate Burton. Does anyone have any input on this information?
