My grandmother was Gustava (Kustaava) Antint. Ainali Saralampi born 28 May 1879 in Himanka and died 15 Dec 1949 in Fort William, Ontario, Canada now called Thunder Bay. Her parents were Antti (Anders) Mikonp. Ainali Saralampi born 31 Jan 1838 Mutkalampi Village, Kannus, Finland and died 19 Mar 1907 Cromwell, Eagle Twp., Carlton County, Minnesota, USA and Priita Helena (Brita Lena) Aapont. Pystö 9 Jul 1840 in Kalajoki, Finland and died 17 Feb 1885 in Himanka, Finland. After her mother died in 1885 my grandmother was one of the "huutolaislapset" or "auctioned children" until she turned 16 in 1895 and then moved to Canada to join her sister. She never saw her father after he left for America.
