My cousin is in the direct paternal line of my grandfather who was born in Southern France back in the 1880's.
He recently tested at GENO2.0 & was told his Y-DNA haplogroup was R-CTS4188.
I am trying to find some information to share with him and our other family. My searches are coming up sparse.
Can anyone help me or at least point me in the right direction?

Hi Alan,

I have been wondering the same. I am R-CTS4188 as well. I know I have many ties to French names through history but my direct ancestors up until the 1200s were from Spain.
