Almost positive the father of John Marion Harrison is Jeremiah Harrison who migrated to Illinois circa 1846 from Wilson Co Tennessee. Jeremiah was born in 1822 in Tn to unknown parents. He was married in 1842 to Sarah Owens in Wilson Co,Tn. They had Armitta in 1843 and William in 1845 and then migrated to Illinois. Sarah was born in Illinois in 1847. John was born in 1851 and James in 1853. I think Sarah died after giving birth to James. Jeremiah remarried Rebecca Campbell ( she was widow of Thomas Campbell and they had two kids James 1847 and Leander 1849) and Jeremiah and Rebecca
had Emeline in 1858.
