How do I disconnect a node from my tree?

I bold a tree for a friend by adding him as a partner. Its now linked to a family member witch I cant reach. I started by deleting the g kids, kids but cant go any further. I want this tree to be disconnected from mine because of the other tree builder.
please help.

Susanna Johanna Steyn, b5c1d9e5f6g13h2i1j6 post a link to the profile that needs to be disconnected from parents, a curator can do that for you from profile view > relationships > disconnect. No need to delete anything - just disconnect.

Geni now offers “create a branch” from the family menu so it’s easier to start trees for people now.

Copy / paste the URL from the browser of the profile into the next message

the http://Geni / (name of profile)

Alternately write out the name and birthdate so I can find it
