Born Sydney 1889 to Llewelyn Jones and Elizabeth Jane Jones (nee Newman).
She moved to South Africa some time after 1915 where she is recorded as being a shop assistant living at Brookes St, Bowen Hills Brisbane, Qld Australia along with brother Llewelyn Moreton Jones, a clerk and sister Gwendoline (home duties)
Her sister Gwendolin Dunbar Edgeworth (nee Jones) also lived in South Africa
