That can't be right. Thanks for catching this, Brenda.

Any idea what the problem is?

This looks like the correct Martin and Mary Pearson.

I can PROVE nothing YET..... it's in progress as we speak. I believe there were TWO WATSON PEARSON's... SENIOR (1786-1870) and JUNIOR (1829->1900) Watson JR is on the 1900 Census....I really believe "transcribers" confused Watson/Watson and Martin/Martin, they are in BOTH generations. The WALTER listed on the 1850 Census of Martin I think is really WATSON! As I said-- I'm working on it right NOW, and I'm just a few steps from thinking I need to take up knitting!

BTW- it's Martin's line I'm after, born 1822....married Mary A. and had MOST his children. Married 2nd Mary C. (Keys) Mason and had two children

brenda gemmell, this family appears to use the same names repeatedly. Not an unusual thing, but it does add to the difficulty factor.

Knitting is one of my other hobbies. I highly recommend it an additional hobby. ;)

At this point in the genealogy, when one is about to go screaming down the asylum hall with a pair of scissors in ones hand, I don't trust myself around knitting needles!!!! :)

I redid the tree above Sarah. They need soures attached to them, but Familyseach is acting a little weird lately.

Please feel free to speak up if you see an error.
