I linked my mtDNA and atDNA test results from Family Tree DNA to my Geni profile. What do I do now?

(I've also upgraded my husband's kit to include mtDNA, but those results will only be available in a few weeks' time)

I forgot to add.. just because we are both engineers and I wanted to minimise any sampling and testing related errors, we also ordered test kits from Ancestry and will send those in this weekend. It will be interesting to see how the results compare.

you can wait for notifications from Geni on matches on atDNA. Not more to do on this one here. atDNA you can do more on ftDNA and gedmatch.com.

For mtDNA you can search for related project and follow your maternal line and see if someone did not add one of them to a project, and then join that project, and see if you can get something there.

The Geni recommendations founds found me a cousin based on atDNA in the last 5 generations.... my HUSBAND... :-D
