Notwithstanding the requested caution regarding merging medieval profiles, I would suggest that Ucke - who is recorded as being 12 at the time of Siward's birth - is less likely to be Siward's father than Dirk who would have been 22.

Well I never merge but I have had profiles merged by other people. Not always correctly.

I'm doing my tree and will be adding Dirk De Holland instead of Ucke. Makes more sense to me and my family.
