Sara Pollack (née Jacob) died before her daughter's wedding in 1850. She is shown as 'deceased' on the marriage certificate of that year.
There are family memories of her parents visiting her annually in London after her marriage, which suggests (if they are correct) that Abraham remarried).

Thanks Dawn. I think you mean 1870 not 1850.

Her daughter Theophilia Hirsch (Pollack) was born in 1850 and married in 1870
