Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. My uncle Mario T Manno is the son of Col & Mrs Nicholas Manno, grandson of the marquise di Villa Bianca. I believe this family is originally descended from the Emanuele family. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Look forward to hearing back from you,

Dorothea Palmer

For starters, "Emanuele" wasn't the family name - several men of the family had double-barrelled first names, and "Vittorio Emmanuele" was rather popular as a combination. Insofar as they had a family name, it was "di Savoia" (of Savoy).

Vittorio Emmanuele II, first King of Italy, was a Tireless Tomcat - two wives (the second one, a former mistress, morganatic), several mistresses, and lots of children https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Emmanuel_II_of_Italy

I wouldn't be too surprised if there was a connection, with that level of activity. :-)
