Hi,
This profile is combining data from two completely different Nicholas Browns from the same time frame.
One married to Elizabeth Leids in 1634 was:
Nicholas Brown death 5 April 1673
Those two were connected with Lynn/Reading MA
death shown in: "Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988 for Nicholas Brown" Reading.
He was the son of Edward Browne and Jane Leids who is also the older sister of Elizabeth Leids so he married his aunt.

The other Nicholas Brown d. 1694 married first to Unknown about 1638 Portsmouth RI and had children Nicholas, Abraham, Jane (Babcock), William was not listed in the will so probably died before that was made in 1694. Abraham married a Catherine, a Mary Dix and had children with Mary Potter one was Preserve Brown.
Nicholas married secondly the widow of George Parker, Frances Parker after 1656 Portsmouth RI when George died.
The births I see most often for both associate them as being born in Inkberrow England one 1593 (the MA connection) and the other 1601 (the RI connection). Not sure on either of those but the deaths have been written in records.
The will of Brown d.1694 is described in this "Wilbour, Benjamin Franklin. "Little Compton Families." Little Compton, RI: Little Compton Historical Society, 1967. Volume I, page 73 begins The Brown Family".
Both are listed in "U.S., New England Marriages Prior to 1700" side by side. In that it lists Nicholas Brown (d.1673) married Elizabeth and blank last name with her death date of 1674 which matches Elizabeth Leids death date.
I'm in RI so hoping to dig more info about them in historical records to shed more light and make it less confusing.
