I knew nothing about Curtis Grubb Hussey until I noticed several Goss children named Curtis, Grubb, and/or Hussey and started re-searching.
My great grandfather, Joseph Hussey Goss (1845-1933), was one of several of Goss whose given or middle names were a tribute to Curtis Grubb Hussey. It appears my family was greatly affected by their involvement with Dr. Hussey in operating a general store and pork packing operations in Gosport, Indiana in the first half of the 19th Century. I don't think my great grandfather had any direct doings with Dr. Hussey. Likely his Uncle Joseph Ephraim Goss was the local Gosport partner with Dr. Hussey.
