My comments her go against the mainstream of genealogical study:

1)Where is a birth record/baptism of a Neeltje born to Dirck Theunissen & Jannetje Michielse?
2) When Neeltje married Johannes Vanderlinde it was written that she was from New Amsterdam (not NJ)
3) There is another Neetje DIrcx who was baptized in the DRC New Amsterdam and is the correct age:

1667 Dec 11; Dirck Janszen Smit, Marritie Dircx; Neeltie; Moer Pieters

I have just added this family to the GENi WFT : Neeltje Dircx
It is also interesting that the New Amsterdam Neeltje's mother, Marritie Dirck is shown to have been from Hoorn. This puts the family as culturally in line with Rutger Van Hoorn's family..

I need to check to see if there are more indications in the record of any origins of Neeltje Dirckse Vanderlinde

Once again, all Zabriskie says is: "Neeltje was born about 1665 for she was 22 when she married. (scant confirmation)
The "liv. near NA" really makes me wonder if she is truly the dau. of Dirck Janszen Smit & Marritie Dircx...
