Query on James HERBERT

James Herbert is on GENI being born in 1788 in England to John Herbert [Convict "Charlotte" 1788] and Deborah (Ellam) Herbert [Convict "Prince of Wales" 1788]

John HERBERT and Deborah ELLAM arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on different ships having left England in mid 1787 therefore James could NOT have been born in 1788 in England. There is no evidence that John and Deborah met in the Hulks in England.

The 1828 Australian census shows a James HERBERT son of John HERBERT being 21 years of age - therefore this James was born 1807.

I will disconnect James HERBERT born 1788 from these parents.
