Do you know your mothers father and mothers first names? Are you sure of the birth year of your mother.

I do not know my moms mom or her dads name .i was only 11 when she passed away .i was 9 when my dad passed away.

I did i. My resulrs are on 23andme and ancestry.com

Hi Lisa, if you extract your dna file from ancestry.com and load it to familytreedna you can then easily link your familytreedna file to Geni which will give you links to the matching profiles.

You can then try asking your dnamatches on 23andme, ancestry and familytreedna to join Geni.

You will need to
1) extract your raw data file from ancestry.com
2) open a free FamilyTreeDNA account at www.familytreedna.com
3) upload your raw file to FamilyTreeDNA and wait for it be processed (mine returned within a day)
4) link the FamilyTreeDNA account to Geni and wait for it to be processed (mine returned within the hour)

It is pretty easy once you start.
