The current consensus seems to be that Charles V was not the true father of Jean de Montaigu, but rather Gerard de Montaigu. The overview in this profile even indicates this false relationship to Charles V, and yet he remains linked as father.
I'm wondering if we shouldn't link to Gerard as his father instead, and provide a note regarding the alleged link to Charles V...?
