Several years ago (10-15yrs) I had my basic mtDNA tested. The results showed that my Haplogroup was X, then X2. A few years later I had a more extensive test that showed my Haplogroup to be X2-G225A. I had not checked my mtDNA for a number of years. As of today, November 23, 2017, familytreedna.com reports that my mtDNA is Haplogroup X2i. I do not understand why it has changed.
