Hi, What is your source for Wilhelmina - her name, her parentage, her place of birth? I would love to hear more! How do you put her parents, Margaret Grewelding and Frederick Zimmerman in Ohio in 1872? If it's accurate, it's really interesting!
There is already some murkiness about that time in their lives. I have one source that says her parents Margaret G and Frederick Z both immigrated to the U.S. in 1875, presumably already married, and another source that implies the dad immigrated alone in 1868 but didn't marry his wife until 1873, and I assumed it was in New York.
There is a source that says that Margaret G and Frederick Z had four children. Anna, Henry, and two others who did not survive, but I have never seen either of the two named anywhere. Do you have an old bible page or stitched heirloom or something that lists Wilhelmena and Frederick?
