Is there anyone on this site who may have connections to my father's side of the family that is active? I really need to get into contact with them. I know when my father passed away in which I was told at Eastern State Hospital in Vinita, Ok. by the SSA but according to this profile he did not. Also the story of what happened to Uncle Leon is not correct. My mother and us kids were there as was Leon's wife, Clara or possibly Cora was her name but my mom is not sure and it's been over 50 years since this happened. I can't find a grave or a case dockett for his trial from when he killed James. As far as we understood he wasn't prosecuted for Leon's death because my mom couldn't prove that it wasn't self defense as my father had claimed. Leon's wife is not in this tree nor are we, my fathers 6 children. Until I found this site we weren't even aware that he also murdered James another brother 2.5 years later. Sad situation and I have so many questions at the age of 54. I haven't seen my father since the day he murdered his brother Leon and I was almost 5 at that time. I have messaged the admins Julia May Goodman but have received no response and she hasn't been active for quite a while.
