I am trying to find any information on a Carl Friedrich von Stein that was documented as being born in Strasbourg in about 1732.
Apparently he had a sister, Sibelle Henriette von Stein and married a person named Tipps
He apparently was a Sergeant in the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Regiment Oranje Nassau.
If anyone can help me in my research with any details, I would be extremely grateful.
My partner is the grand-daughter of Gerardina von Stein, a fifth generation descendant of Carl Friedrich von Stein.
