Even though you aren't a manager you can always add info to the About section of a profile... I often do this when I find info on great aunts/uncles even though I'm not a manager of the profile. Just be sure to document where you have found the info.
You could also send a message to the managers about the info you have found... might want to make the comment about the project... ask them if anyone has more definitive info on the type/place of cancer origin (she could be added to a sub-category also) in the message to the managers. I freq. will send the profile managers a note that I have added info to that profile that they may want to look at as a courtesy.
I freq. will also send messages to the managers when I have questions or find info that conflicts with what is already in Geni profile. I provide sources that document what I have found & provide as much info as I can... If you have found some major conflicting info you may even want to start a discussion from the "Discussion" tab in the profile--on across from the "Overview" tab.
