The overview does not make sense. Hannah married Larkin Chew on 27 December of 1696. (Most sources put her birth at 1678-80.) How could she be the stepchild of John Roy when John Roy didn't marry Dorothy [Buckner] Smith (Hannah's putative mother) until 1710?

Seems like we may have a confusion between Dorothys (Buckner and Peyton) and daughters name Hannah? And somehow Richard vs, John Roy is mixed up in it, too. Anybody having sources, please share. Will post whatever I find. (Hannah & Larkin are my 6th great-grandparents)

I am not very familiar with this family. Feel free to edit in notes above the current overview notes and comment on the possible mixup with another family. That's why I undid merges ....

I made a stab at clearing things up by trying to merge at least the two John Roys (both shown as married to Dorothy Buckner) in the tree, but got a "There is a problem" message. Merge could not be done for some reason. I've got inquiries out to several folks and hope to have this somewhat straightened out. Thanks.
