Hi Jonathan,
Harvey's grandmother's arrival record referred to brother-in-law David Postel at 33x 22nd St., Brooklyn.
Sore Postel
Arrived 4 Oct 1923
SS Homeric
To add to the confusion: The 1930 census has a David Postel at 33 Bay 22nd St., Brooklyn -- age 20, son of Louis and Becky. He can't be the same David as the one on the manifest -- too young -- but the address is intriguing. Just a coincidence?
You don't know Joseph's father's name, do you? I live near New Montefiore Cemetery. I hope to get there this week to see if there's a Hebrew name on Joseph's grave.

It was http://ethnicelebs.com/harvey-weinstein . Often that site copies my work and sites Geni as its evidence but in this case I think I got it from that site.
Harvey Weinstein is an American film producer and film studio executive.
Harvey is the son of Miriam (Postel/Postal) and Max Weinstein. His younger brother, Bob, is also a film producer. Their company Miramax was named after their parents. They were raised Jewish.
Harvey has two children with his wife, English fashion designer and actress Georgina Chapman, and three children with his former wife, assistant Eve Chilton.
Harvey’s paternal grandparents were Benjamin Weinstein and Helen. Benjamin was born in Ohio, to parents from Russia. Helen was originally from Hungary.
Harvey’s maternal grandparents were Joseph “Joe” Postel/Postol/Postal and Sarah. They were originally from Poland.

The people I found at 33 Bay 22nd St are the same as your Louis and Bettie, sons Mitchell and Harry.
Harry was Harold on the 1925 and 1930 census.
Mitchell was David on the 1925 census and in the NYC birth index; Mitchell in 1930.
Bettie was Becky on the 1925 and 1930 census and Beckie on her death record.
There must be a connection with Joseph Postol (1893-1974). Sarah's manifest refers to brother-in-law David P. at 33 B 22nd. Maybe she meant b-in-l Louis. I'm hoping that Joseph's grave will shed light.
Good work.
Where's your evidence that Pauline Fishman Weinstein's parents and siblings are as you have it on Geni? Seems her parents are Meyer and Eve Brosdowits, as seen in:

I just got back from the graves of Harvey Weinstein's parents (Miriam and Max) and maternal grandparents (Joe and Sarah Postol).
Joe is Yosef ben Aron Shlomo, so probably the brother of Louis of 22nd St., (husband of Beckie, father of Mitchell David and Harry/Harold).
Miriam, who died last November, has no stone. The other three have foot stones that have been blackened by the elements and need power washing. And there's no family stone. I expected a fancy shmancy family plot. Instead, I had to get the help of a groundskeeper to find the graves.
Re Pauline Fishman Weinstein's parents and siblings:
First of all, I'm glad you're asking. I appreciate your concern for accuracy.
I too thought that Pauline's parents were Meyer and Eve, based of the marriage record. But then I found:
- Petition for Naturalization of Pauline Weinstein. (Search at http://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=2280 for Pauline Weinstein born 1895.)
- Arrival record of Perl Fischman, April 1913, Rijndam. (Ancestry index says Tischman.)
- Pauli Fishman with parents Dave and Rose on the 1915 census.
- Arrival Oct. 1913 of Ruchla Fischmann and children.
Note that her Petition says that Pauline was from Nowoselitz, Galicia -- not right.
Possibly Pauline's father had a double name -- David Meir. And Pauline's mother was his first wife? (That would explain daughter Eve.)
In any case, I apologize for making a mess of the merging. Randy did some of it for me and I tried to finish up, but didn't fare well. No experience. I'll leave it to you to do what you think is best.
Thank heavens for secular Jews who marry WASPs! Harvey's first ex-wife's parents were firmly entrenched in the big tree for several years but no one linked Eve Parish Chilton Weinstein to them for some reason, despite how it should be obvious to a curator when he or she sees a familiar surname. I connected them.
