I am trying to establish the birth place and marriage of George SANSOM and Dorothy FLOYD. According to research carried out by the Nottinghamshire Family History Society George HOOK changed his name during 1819 to that of his mother Lucy SANSOM but had been married and had a child as George HOOK. The child John HOOK only lived 3 months of 1819. I would appreciate any information to try and establish the facts of settler who is my ancestor. I would like to assist in the project of photographing the birth and marriage places of the settlers for the 200 year anniversary in 2020. Thanks in anticipation.
