The widow of Thomas, Annie Herdson, married George Stoddard on 14 November 1559, so Thomas Sexten died before that date. The last business corrspondence on file is in July 1559 as shown on http://www.combs-families.org/combs/records/england/pro/sp-suppleme... so Annie does not seem to have waited very long at all before she remarried.
On 14 July 1559 Thomas Sexten the husband of Jane Myller was still alive and he died in 1577 so he cannot be the same person as Thomas Sexten, husband of Annie Herdson.
Thomas the father of Barbara Sexten cannot be the son of Thomas Sexten and Elizabeth Mountney, as that Thomas is the Thomas who married Jane Myller.
Thomas the father of Barbara must have been a cousin of Thomas the husband of Jane Myller. Barbara is said to have been his heir a will for this Thomas was not found on the Public Record Office website for wills.
The will of Thomas Sexten, husband of Jane Myller, in 1577, mentions only two daughters, Mary and Susan. Literature about Barbara Sexten states she was the heir of Thomas Sexten so she cannot have been the daughter of this Thomas as she did not inherit from him.
In 1836 literature erroneously refers to Barbara as a daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth and in 1770 only as a daughter of Thomas and before that as parents unknown.
