If he wasn't called "Isaac Bass of Roquist Swamp" during his lifetime, I don't think we should call him that now.

If other profile managers and other Isaac Bass descendants disagree, I will concede the point.

But I think he should remain ISAAC BASS, SR. as he is called in most Bass genealogies (and as he was called in his lifetime), to distinguish him from his son Isaac Bass, Jr

I tend to think that stuff is better kept in the overview page notes and the sources, rather than the name fields.

(That goes for the DNA info as well--let's keep it out of the name fields, please.)

Didn't I merge it and remove that?

oh, I didn't remove it from the display; but, now I did.

I didn't mean to pick on you, cuz!--but i wanted to know what other Bass descendants thought about it. Maybe I am too conservative about the naming conventions. I tend to think some info is better kept in the notes.

Turns out this is my daughter's line. Had been following the A unique dna out of interest; that it is different that the adoptive dad, by following that discussion in the Bass DNA Study Group.
