I apologize if this reply is in the wrong place. I was adopted and have been reunited with my biological mother.
My maternal grandfather supplied data to the adoption agency about my biological father and I have done a lot of research on him but can't locate some critical information.
I was told by several cousins that my bio-father, Christopher Michael Maloney" fought in the Korean War and my maternal grandfather said he was at one time a POW in that war.
He was buried at the Memorial Cemetery in Denver Colorado in November 1970. He died oct 29, 1970 in ventura ca. At one time I had his death certificate from CA (Lost in my divorce).
I am fairly sure he had at least 5 siblings from Hitchcock county / Lincoln / Newport NEBRASKA but that many of his family moved to the state of Colorado.
He is in the 1935 census in Nebraska. His father was John and mother Margaret or Margurite (SP).
I was told by a cousin (Gay Boys) that he was married to Ann Anderson in Texas. I have located a marriage certificate that matches those names but nothing more.(Denton Texas)
I want to verify the possibility of him having 5 - 7 kids by Ann as they would be my half siblings.
I also met a half brother of mine ONCE, Shane or Sean Maloney born after 1965 but before 1971 in Colorado and lived in boulder when I met him. My former husband destroyed a lot of my personal papers, lots of the research I had done was among that.
If anyone can help please reply.
Thanks,
Leah
