Trying to find any information on my biological grandfather who married in Quebec city then divorced my grandmother Bessie Pressman in Toronto. I know he remarried and had two children. I vaguely remember he had a brother who was in a mental institution. In those days it could have been for anything easily treated now. He had 2 children, Faye or Fanny and Louie in Toronto. He was Jewish and probably married Jewish. He lived in New York for a while before moving to Hot Springs.@Norma Goldberger

His name which I inadvertently left out was Jack Stein.

Lots of records on Ancestry for Jack Stein in Hot Springs, AR, if this is him.

Thank you so much for showing me how to search.

All the sites I've found so far one has to purchase. Jack Stein fathered my mom in 1911 and left about 3 years later. He's not the one on the gravestone. Can you suggest a free site or if I need to buy into one, which one do you suggest?

FamilySearch is free. I would start there.

Ancestry is very useful but I suspect that it won't be worth the investment for just Jack Stein.
