Ok I researching a Doctor Charles Byers I know he was a Hessin Soldier
He Deserted and joined the Revolution Cause as surgeon assistant.
Does the DAR mention his kids I am at wits end trying to find which daughter married A Callahan she was teacher from what history books state.
I didn't know if DAR records on ancestry help and how would I see about getting information?

Hello Billie June,

The DAR appears to have records for his sons Charles (mostly) and Daniel (a few). I don't see anything through a daughter of his. I like to transcribe those records into Geni, and then go back and trace the other DAR ancestors those members have, in order to flesh out a 'cousin forest'.

Sabrina,
I have added all I have found for Charles Byers and Charles B Callahan Sr his grandson. I also added occupation for the Mystery daughter of Charles Byers as book says she was teacher. This so weird still we have grandson Grandfather but no daughter how weird. And no one I talked to can say anything. I looked everywhere on this family. I adding stuff as can.
