I'd always assumed the son of Wulfric, Lord of Leek was from Tittesworth, which is just outside Leek on the Buxton road.

Solomon's Hollow (and Solomon's Wood which runs through it) is on the Leek to Buxton road near Tittesworth. It is named after either my wife's 3 times great grandfather Solomon Ash or his father, both of whom were from Tittesworth.

It is easily overlooked (I am not sure it even merits a sign) and the name is probably better known locally because of Tittesworth Reservoir which extends south from Meerbrook towards Leek. I only know it is because my father-in-law's family are from the area.
