Mysterious Soldier Doctor Charles "Karl" Gottlob Beyer

Billie: Use the "Research" menu at the top of the Geni window, select "Create a Branch"

You'll be prompted for the information to create a new, "stand-alone", profile.

Then, once you have created Charles Beyer, two things to do next:
-- Edit that new profile and add his original German name (use the "Add Language" button on the right side while editing the Basic fields).
-- add the descendants for whom you have documentation. Add the supporting information in either the About description or as a document added to the Sources tab. (For how to do that Source addition, see https://www.geni.com/blog/geni-tips-how-to-add-sources-to-profiles-...)

Once you find the information about which daughter provides the 'connection', then you can merge that newly-identified person with the corresponding person in the branch connected with you.

Ok thanks I added what I could to profiles he's like invisible kid wise talked to several people they say yes you In family but no one can find which kid you come from other then she teacher and was his daughter. I found books which I hide in documents only way to know. This guy did good job hiding after dersertion I will say. Just found his name change week ago,

Looking at my Ancestry file he may need to have DAR look him up looks like he has SAR application on him maybe that help add his kids bin.
