I think that she was born in 1894 is fake news. Can I be disproven? Only evidence is her marriage certificate listing she's a Brit born when her husband was born.

Be skeptical both ways. She might have lied about her age at any point, or she might have been misidentified. Instead of guessing, look for sources.

The 1930 census says she was born c1903 in Illinois.
