person merging when there is NO relationship

Can you give a link to one of the wrongly merged profiles?

I am very new to Geni. I understand about World Trees but this merge makes no sense to me. How can they be related to my husband's Italians, My Germans, etc. And, the merging person is from India

I am beginning to understand. Is this person merging Cherie, Sharon, and John profiles. They are not merging THEIR personal profile into our family tree. I am VERY new. Sorry.

Yep. It's not just curators who merge profiles throughout the world tree, though in this case that was what was happening. Pro members can, too.

We collaborate in order to improve the World Tree, clean up duplicates and tree conflicts, and the like.
