David was only ever David and was never called Charles, only in the imagination of someone trying to connect David Choules in South Australia to the records in Wiltshire, namely in Great Bedwyn. As the two David Choules were baptised in Burbage, a few kilometres from Great Bedwyn, and not in Great Bedwyn, their records were not found at that time.
