Children of De Gontaut Biron De Gontaut Saint Genies

For many years families have been arguing that they are descendants of these combined French Nobel families. However, I have yet to see any documentation to support these beliefs. A simple DNA test would prove or disprove yet none are being conducted to my knowledge.
My own family is believed to have descended from Jean De Gontaut Saint Genies De Gontaut Biron. The surviving members of this family insist that there are no records that Jacqueline De Gontaut Saint Genies and Jean De Gontaut Biron produced children in their union.
