Hi, I'm entering info from family notes and wondered if anyone might have any additional info about Joseph Hoy. The notes I have say he came from Pennsylvania, was dutch and became the first sheriff of Union County, Kentucky. His daughter was Sarah Hoy, she was born in 1808, married Daniel Stone Sr (formerly from the area near Spartanburg, South Carolina, and she died in 1879. That's all the info I have on the Hoys. Anyone got other info?
