Hi, any chance that this person's mother could be this Isabella?

Dear Debbie,

Thank you for your message about Isabella Taylor. I am away from home at the moment and I do not have full internet access. Consequently, I am unable to use the link you sent me. It will be Thursday before I can do so.

All I can tell you at present is what I have written in the overview for Isabella Taylor:

Isabella Taylor is the daughter of James Taylor in Holland "The Laird of Holland" and his second wife, Margaret Olay. Her baptism was registered at Firth on 2 May 1817. [Registrar General for Scotland, New Register House, Edinburgh, Baptisms at Firth and Stenness, 1732-1819, reference OPR.17./1] The names of her parents are also identified in a letter written by her nephew, Reverend James Taylor [Orkney Library and Archive, 44 Junction Road, Kirkwall, Orkney, Letter dated 27 December, written by Reverend James Taylor, addressed to his cousin, David Rendall of Midgarth, reference D1/695].

I am also replying for PGF.

Yours Sincerely,

Neil Reid Ford
