According to the 1900 Census, the couple had ten children who were living at the time and three who were deceased. Several names have been suggested in other family trees and genealogies, including Gideon, George H., Laura, and Fannie M. I have not found any reliable documentation at this time for any of them. Another name that has been suggested as one of the deceased descendants is Joseph A., but this can be rejected based on the 1870 census that Joseph appears in as a one-year-old female child. An eleven-year-old Josie Chenoweth appears in the 1880 census. This child has to be Josie Ann, who married G.D. Culpepper 10 NOV 1899 in Collin County, TX.
Further complicating the headcount is an obituary on the findagrave.com profile of Joseph Chenoweth that says he is survived by eleven children.
